Ch Morningsage Carmel Cali
(Ch Amberac's Tackled Mybowser X
Am Can Morningsage Some Punkin ) |
"Cali" was purchased from us as a puppy by
Chas. & Pat Barlow, and they graciously allowed
me the pleasure of showing "Cali" to most of her Ch. points,
and as a Special ! She was an
outstanding showgirl, throughout her career, and I was
especially honored to show her
in the 1989 Top Twenty Invitational at the National Specialty
in Colorado and always proud
to be her breeder! She is pictured winning an earlier
BOS at the Mile Hi GRC also in CO. |

Morningsage Chasin Fame (Left)
( his sire: Ch Daystar Molega's Windjammer
dam: Morningsage A Wing An A Prayer )
He completed the required wins/points for his Can. Ch
but doesn't carry the official title, because we did not
register him with the CKC.
Chase was lost to cancer, soon after our move to
Nebraska in 1996. He only enjoyed his "country living"
for a
short while. |

little Teeka girl at 4 months in 1991!
This pair garnered a lot of Showmanship
wins in 4-H and obedience placements
too, at the State level. |
Micah and "Teeka" have come a
long way together, they are shown
here earning their CDX degree!

This is "Peach", the Hunter X Caitlin girl we kept
for
ourselves. She was "pointed" & would have done well,
but several months after this Specialty Show "Major" RWB win
she failed to pass her OFA certification. Having Bred and
shown our "own Goldens" for these many years, this was almost the straw
that broke the camels back, for me. I went through a terrible period
of disappointment over losing this lovely girl for our
breeding program, and came very close to quitting
"showing". Peach was placed in a lovely pet home
with children to love...and the world went on, and
we are still here, showing our homebred dogs , albeit we have slowed
down much! |
|
Of Course these "Remembering" pages of our dogs of the past are fun,
but they also brings tears for all of those Golden hearts we miss so much.
We BELIEVE in "The Rainbow Bridge", a lovely writing that helps give
comfort when you've lost your special pets. If you haven't seen it
before please look for it in our drop down navigation menu. |
